Project 3 - A maximum 90 seconds Animation of the Completed 3D Scene
For our final computer application assignment, we are required to produce a short video of our respective building.
For my exterior scene, I slowly exploded all my walls and floors and reverse the sequence after I finish rendering.
Firstly, I placed my camera at the position I wanted it to be and create the path of the camera using shapes tool.
Then I go to the motion tool and click path finder as seen in the screenshot above.
Then I select my path which I create earlier using the shapes tool.
tadaaah! There goes my movable camera. I adjusted the timing of my video then its ready for rendering.
But first, I have to go to Render Setup and change my time output from single to range then select my respective frames that I want o render.
After that, I ticked save file at the render output section and save it to the file I want in tga form.
Then render.
After done rendering, I have to go to Compare Media in RAM player and open my tga file then convert them into avi file in order to form a video.
After saving my all my videos, I used Adobe Premier Pro to merge all my scenes into a complete video.

Project 2B - Rendering interior spaces
Firstly, I chose the suitable furniture from saveral sources in the net such as 3dModelFree.com and Archive3D.
After carefully choosing the furniture, I imported the furniture into 3D Max and added the materials into the furtinure.
Import > merge > choose the file I downloaded earlier for editing.

I dragged the materials from the provided in the file which I downloaded earlier into my material editor sphere. However, some materials are not provided, so I had to use the materials readily in the 3DMax software or searched for other materials in the net.
After saving my newly edited furniture, I saved the file into 3DMax file and merge it into my building 3DMax file.
Firstly, I added the camera into my interior in order to ease my adjustment of my lightings and furnitures in my selected space.
I uses omni tool to adjust the brightnest of my interior spaces.
Then, I add the lighting for my interior perspective and adjusted them using the modify tool.
I used Kelvin to adjust the colour of my light ( lower value will produce a more yellowish lighting effect). The using Im in my intensity to adjust the brightness of my light.
I also transformed the shape of my light to cylinder shape and sphere shape from the Shape/ Area Shadow section.
After finish adjusting my interior spaces to the position which I am satisfy with, I render them.
After done with rendering, I phtotoshoped my interior spaces with wall decorative which couldn't be found in a cad file.
Done!

Project 2A - Redering exterior spaces
By using the materials I got from the internet, I bitmap them into my 3Dmax and insert them into my building.
The main materials i used are timber, concrete and glass. I got the concrete and timber materials from the internet, but I used Art and Design for the glass effect.
By using UVWmap, I rotate my material to the direction I want them to be. UVWmap can also function to adjust the size of your materials, which I used it in all of my walls.
After done with my rendering, i insert the daylight tool in order for my building to have light and shadow.
After finish adjusting my building to the angle I wanted, I clicked the Render tool and save it as TIF file for further editing in Photoshop.
By deleting the background and then inserting the background I preferred, I am able to create a scenery for my building.
I added the tees and its shadow by cop and pasting the trees, then distort the shape and adjusting the colour using level tool.
Human figures were added into my perspective drawing in order for readers to able to visualize the size of my building.
Another perspective view editing.
I used the level tool to adjust the brightness of the surrounding to get the perfect lighting.
